TEAM MIMASAKA, MAGNI CLUB JAPAN use for racing a Magni motorcycle (with Moto Guzzi 4 valves engine).

In the past years partecipate to national racing in Japan with very good results.

This year TEAM MIMASAKA partecipated at Daytona racing, helded at the beginning of March.

Final position "BOT F1" helded on march 2nd 1998

1° Yoshiuki Sugai - Sundance Harley Japan

2° Pete Johnson - Raceco Guzzi 1200

3°Eric Wood - Bimota DB2

The day March 3rd was helded the racing "Sound of Thunder/BEARS"

At the first lap the position are: Ducati, Raceco/Guzzi, Sundance/Harley, Magni/Guzzi.

Middle of the race 1st Britten followed by Raceco/Guzzi and Magni/Guzzi.

At the last lap, due to a technical fail, Teruo Fukuda broken the engine of the Magni/Guzzi, so that was not possible to fight for the 2nd place.

Fukuda broken his arm and leg. But he says: "I enjoy the Magni riding!! At last, I want to say thank you to the constructor Magni and his family. Your machine is the greatest motorcycle all over the world for my team. Thank you again."

Teruo Fukuda registered the 2nd top speed during the race: 1st Britten 146 miles/hour, 2nd Magni/Guzzi 141 miles/hour. Very good result!
